Wiradjuri COUNTRY.

We acknowledge the Wiradjuri and Bangerang people, the traditional Custodians of the land in and around Corowa, which this solar farm site is located on. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present. Corowa in Wiradjuri language means (rocky river crossing) and is a place where many tribes still gather today to do trade, Government and Aboriginal lore. The site is located in the Riverina region of NSW, itself part of the South Western Slope Bioregion. This site is within the area widely acknowledged to be part of the Wiradjuri and Bangerang language group.
